Title: swimming pool pump & heaters
Post by: lukeg on January 17, 2013, 06:02:19 pm
Does anyone use a swimming pool pump and heater to heat static systems or even van mount? If you do which one?

Ive seen a bestsway pool which holds 3500 ltrs with a pump snd a 3kw heater for £80 brand new, thinking of buying it just to use the pump and heater for my ibc.

i have a bestaway hot tub heater a 100wats and it takes about 12 hours to heat up 900 liters of water, 3000 wats is an expensive way to do it

Does it need a separate pump?

I was thinking of having it on a timer so lets say 10-20 mins an hour, should get water hot enough over 12hrs. would be trial and error for a start might not need it on that much or might need it on longer.

The one im looking at does have separate pump, you can get all in systems but they are silly money
