Title: little giant ladders...potential warning?
Post by: bobplum on January 14, 2013, 07:06:02 pm
was think of getting a little giant ladder for those that have not seen them see steve aingers picture on the post about telescopic ladders  titled  "gate climbers"

i came across a youtube vid showing how dangerous they are when fully extended you may care to track it down prior to buying these ladders

Thats not the same model , the one in the video is the classic model the one in steves pic is the pro version . I have not tried one personally but im thinking of getting one .

Would be interested to hear any experiences of climbing the pro version in extended mode.

I saw this video before i brought my ladders & i was a little concerned.
If you look at the video they have the ladder extended about 3ft above the gutter, this automatically creates a pivot point, which is not helped with the little giant because it is hinged in the middle.
The solution is, dont over extend & the ladder is as safe as houses .
