Title: Waterproof jackets
Post by: Ian Rochester on January 14, 2013, 12:01:43 pm
I'm looking at replacing the waterproof jackets our guys use for new ones, we currently use Regatta gear, which is ok but nothing startling.  I was just wondering what waterproof jackets you guys prefer.  I've looked at a few from the companys that stitch on the logos and they are all too heavy and bulky, I want something good without paying Berghaus prices.  I probably need 10 jackets

I tend to buy my wet weather gear and winter boots from a sports shop called decathlon ( they're on line too )
Good quality at reasonable prices

Berghaus all the way
Theres only me so have no great outlay but ive had some fleeces for 5 years and are still as good as the day they were purchased
They are well worth paying that bit extra

As a rule i wear a Northface jacket but you might like to take a look at www.workwearexpress.com   i get my logo workwear from them and they are a good company or www.engelbertstrauss.com  who sometimes have some good deals and offers on .

Hope this helps . Mike
