i used a :-
Female Tap Connector 15mm x 3/4" BSP

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plumbing/John+Guest+Speedfit/Female+Tap+Connector+15mm+x+34+BSP/d20/sd3307/p29210

then you put it onto one of these:- Brass Quick Connector

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Landscaping/Hose+Fittings/Brass+Quick+Connector/d130/sd3316/p12553

getthe brass connector, unscrew the nut from it and get rid of it,
wind some ptfe tape round the thread
screw on the tap connector tight
the just push the brass fitting onto the angeled  hose reel connection,

The problem  is that it is still a hoselock connecting to the reel. I have mine attached with jubilee clip so it won't  pop off.

Not had mine leak or blow off yet, you won't geta push fit fitting that will fit onto a moving section, there is a metal grip inside them that will cut into the pipe and the rubber seal inside will ware out too, so u will be changing the push fit fittings more than you will what I have done, push fit fittings are not designed to move!

It works fine as it is I was just hoping there was something.

The  pipe I use is 1/2" not metric.

This is the sort of thing. I guess I now need a 3/8 female to 1/2 JG pipe.

Was in the local caravan shop today having a snoop about and I think the spare attachment for a rolla water barrel might do the trick....
