Your looking around £200 to get the bottle and the filling cap, then you got to get the filling cap cut and fitted to the side of the van, so could look at upto £300 before the gas!!!
Then you got to drive to a petrol station that sells lpg gas at the pumps, so if you not got one near you you will have to find one that does

If you get 3 weeks out of it it only costs you £8 a week, £1.60 a day!! And you think it's expensive lol

If you get the bottle and filling port from this site, then you can get it for £150, that is an 11kg bottle and the filling port-everything you need. The bottle holds 21L so it will cost about £16 to fill up.
This setup is good if you have an lpg filling station near you and saves having to keep disconnecting and taking the gas bottle in and out.
There are positives and negatives for every setup. But if you are planning on using hot water all the time it could pay for itself in under a year.

I started with a 6kg one that lasted me upto 2weeks using my L5 heater
That's working with the gas set to the lowest setting

Urs use butane then?

I went to the usual petrol station for 13kg of propane @£38 (which I knew was expensive, but I go there cause everywhere else is usually closed-just happened to be middle of the day I went) they had ran out but sent me to the caravan shop a mile away who had loads and was only £27!
I'm on calor at that price, I've heard that 'flogas' are a tenner cheaper-don't know if that makes them £28 or £17 though.
Didn't realise the price difference till yesterday!
