Title: A facebook question to you
Post by: Window Washers on January 05, 2013, 10:28:32 am
I will try and make this as clear as possible:

For you guys that know nothing or very little about facebook, what would you like to learn about it ?

I am writting a guide on this very thing and will try to incorporate what you want into it.

Example: how do I set it up.
             : I already have a page but...

if someone posts your answer, please could you post yours anyway so I can see where people need the most help.

Your answers will help me and then I can help you.

Just to be clear I am not going be selling you this guide, it will be free (I will be asking for your private feedback once it is done and you have read it)

No offense Ian but, I know nothing at all about face book (and that's more than I want to know :D ), but if I did want to know about F/B I'd go to a F/B forum.  ;)

I think any help would be good, there's a lot of people that don't know how to use things,
Start with the basics and go from there,

What is the quickest & most cost effective way to build an audience of FB likers who are local & genuine potential customers?

First of all you might have a personal profile but not know how to make a  Page just for business, how to get target the right group of people, what groups to join and to share your Page with.

Not really, because I don't know anything about it and I have no interest in it. If I did become interested in it I would start by asking how to set up a face book account ...... and then I'd bombard YOU with questions that at the moment I don't have.

Just pointing out it's out there already. I'm guessing you've come up with another get rich plan. We'll help you set it up so you can log the questions then you can market it at a later date maybe? You've been doing this for weeks now.

Ooh look there's even software out there to get you more likes and better access to your business

I'm not trying to get you to bite I'm just expressing my observations that's all. You've been probing for weeks with this facebook stuff but seem at a loss exactly what it is you want to do. So like I said it would appear you want to produce some kind of ebook for small businesses. You only want to hear the bits that really benefit you rather than give information out. Hence nobody has a clue what you're on about half the time.

Dave if you give me your phone number or call me on 07788 732 789 (block your number if you wish) I will explain what I am doing to you maybe you would understand where I am coming from then.

I am not posting it on here because most of it has nothing to do with window cleaning, but what I am doing here on this guide is 100% to do with window cleaners to set up social media it is free for you guys.

if I wanted to make money I have no problem of being upfront with people about it.

I could do this guide asking other people that are always nice to me and dont question me, but that would be boring, I like the banter (most oif the time)

Put something of interest to customers on it, asuming that they read your FB page. as a rule, they don't. They go to it to answer an advert you placed, or if they want to contact you for some reason to ask something. It's good for all sorts of things, but twitter and facebook posts aren't read daily by customers in WCing.

From what I can see from your page, you're a sales/canvassing firm. When I click on info, it gives me none. From what I can see, you've had the page since about October 2010 and have 86 people on it. Are these customers?

If you want or need more customers and want to make sales from that page, you'll need some help on what to do.

Hope that helps
