Hello there, i think ive got my first carpet cleaning job....whayhey.
Ive been asked to clean the upholstery of 13 coaches by a local firm, im pretty sure this is going to be "pain in the arse" work and wondered if anyone could advise how best to price it up. ie Per seat or per hour? any sugestions and advise would be welcomed.
Many thanks in advance all.

All I can say is well done.
I would not have wanted that for my first job.
But give it a go.
How long do you think it will take ?
-
mmmm i think its called car valeting or in this case coach lol and valeting money is crap !!! 6 seats on coach is as much work as a 3pc so thats min £80 how many seats per coach ?

Hi Aqua
Work out how long you you think it will take you say example 5 hours x £35 =£175 and then give them a price would imo be the easiest way ,good luck

i was going to reply earlyer but thought what do i know i've yet to clean my own carpets...lol
but would have said £8 per seat or £35 per hour is not out of the way tricky work but least its 2 weeks worth of good money

Do NOT forget to put 2 or 3 Turbo's in each coach after cleaning or they will take forever to dry!!
I would charge as Gary says £80 per 6 seats, but and it is a BIG BUT the coach operator will more than likely want to pay 50p per seat!!
As said previously VALETING is a pain in the Butt, WALK AWAY !!

Hi charge out at 45.00 per hour, you want repeat business, it doesn`t matter how hard it so, because it WILL be an excellent repeat contract.....................and when no ones whats to know carpet cleaners, you will always be working, with no advertising with a bitof luck..............without doubt by the Hour....................Regards Lyn selfclean.
