Just wondered if anyone has had this problem? Peugeot partner van

Back in my day (when you could take a motor to bits and put it together again with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers) a squeak, or a whining screeching noise when you put your foot on the clutch pedal meant the thrust bearing was on the way out.
Take more than screwdriver and pliers to fix it nowadays ;)

is it the clutch itself making a noise or just a squeek when you press the peddle up and down,
-
if its a squeal sound, it will most probably be the throw out bearing, normally means a new clutch i'm afraid

sign up to aa breakdown parts and labour cover, make the clutch last another two weeks, (takes 14 days to kick in ) then when the clutch goes (the screech eventually gets really bad) and you breakdown call the aa, they will take you to a garage and pay the first 500 of the repairs clutch will be about 400
