what do you do to encourage staff to bring in new customers and go out there way a little to bring in new work
-
A fiver. It keeps them knocking on the neighbours and opposites on a regular basis. All those fivers add up richy. Some weeks it can be a £50 top up on there money, usualy around £20 a week though as an average.

I was wondering were you were rich!

Nothing, my lads dont need anything, they will pick up work if they can and dont expect to be paid, they say the more work we have then the more secure their work is and the busier they are, simple really, and yes i have offered them the price of the first clean but theyre happy the way it is
-
mine are to be fair ste but id like to encourage them to get more so that we can compact the areas lost quite a few messers so want to build on better rounds
-
I pay half the first clean, it encourages them to canvas that bit harder,

I used to give 100% of the first clean then it was added to the round.
However I would never give anything now. Because this developed in them the attitude, why tell him and we can have 100% all the time, and they started building there jobs around my round, until I found out.

I give £10 for each customer they pick up while out on the job
