Title: the rain last year was a good thing
Post by: james peters on January 02, 2013, 07:54:54 pm
hello ;D

this is only my take , so be gentle with me ;D

since I have been wfp....nearly 8 years , I have always made it my aim to work through most weathers....
to date , I just get on with it now..
last year 2012... I only lost 3 days to wet weather....on the days I didnt work it was realy belting down....

now , dont get me wrong....the wet weather in 2012 , did get on my boobs, and I did look out the window in the morning with a sigh.....but, I just got on with it...

anyhow....I have noticed that on the whole my customers have been ok with it....it has rained so much here in wales ....rainy days have become the norm....
and having to work in the rain to survive has meant that the customer is just used to it.....

so as the title says ....I think all this rain has changed the customers attitude...
now shoot me down!

No, I completely agree.
The only thing I hate is trying to buy the right waterproof gear. I'm still not happy, still spending.

I totally agree. We usually turn up in light rain but this year decided to work in mostly all weathers!! unless it was belting it down and our custys were all ok or seemed to be and the very few who did complain or say no were dropped.

It makes no difference to the windows; it's just not nice to work in. Roll on summer eh  ;D
