Hi everyone,
I'm interested in finding out what you would all charge for the following house, to be cleaned with traditional methods, every 4 weeks.
FRONT TOP WINDOW

What would you price?
Please put price and where you are from.
Cheers.

Don't forget the windows above the conservatory that YOU can't do Rog.

Ditto. But I wouldn't do it in the dark!
You live there Larry? Looking for a window cleaner?
-
I could do them, as they're above a bay, not a conservatory. ;)
Remember, he asked for a price to do it trad...
-
I would Charge Between £10.00 and £12.00 which includes the frames the door the facia and the roof of the conservatory if its made of glass or plastic.
I use Wfp, and I would like to see someone walk over the conservatory roof if it is made of glass or plastic.
-
£10 trad (deffo not the conservatory roof)

Read his comments again Rog, below the photo of the conservatory. He said there are windows above the conservatory that cannot be done trad.
So you cannot price the whole job.
If you could do the ones above the conservatory somehow, without using wfp, then how much?
So, price to half do the job? About £6-7.
Do it properly £10.
Ask the client what they would like. AND we'll clean up that UPVC cladding at the side of the conservatory FOC if you have the windows done every 4 weeks. ;)
-
Thanks for the responses guys :) Keep them coming.
Just to clarify, the windows above the conservatory should not be included in the price as it's a quote for traditional methods of cleaning. I wouldn't imagine anyone would walk on a conservatory :o
-
Assuming good access all around the house £12. This assumes messing around with an non waterfed extension pole and swivel applicator/squeegee for the window above the corrugated roof.
Gatwick.

Yes mate its my house. I'm going out canvassing on Saturday so I was just practising my prices around the house :D
I came up with £7-8 and I'm interested in what people on this board would charge.
-
£12.50 - £15.

Larry
You know who you are, what you can do, what you're worth, roughly what you can charge in your area. You've got it right. You've obviously been practicing.
Go out and do it. Let us know in about 4 weeks what you've learned.
In the meantime ask.

8-10 every month

£10 in Liverpool if trad.
If I did a similar house WFP it would be £15 selling the customer the cleaning of the frames, Upvc, innaccessible windows.
I would NOT clean the roof as part of a scheduled window clean unless they asked for this. I would charge £10 extra for the roof if they wanted it done and suggest having it cleaned every other month.
If the roof was a one off clean annually, I would charge £30
-
£10-12, North Derbyshire, dont undersell yourself, you will get lots of work anyway.
The Bear
-
About £10-£12 for wirral merseyside.
-
I'd have thought around £8 - £10 wfp and the same trad. I could do all that in 6 mins I know cuz I do bout 15 over here exactly the same.
-
£8.00 frames and sills included in the price
Plymouth
-
£10.00 TRAD. GLASS ONLY PER MONTH
CHESHIRE.

Hi Larry,
I'm intrigued to reason why you would want to know where everyone is and how much they'd charge for those windows. Who owns the property in question.
Cheers Mark
-
£13 swindon
-
£12. 00 trad, £15 wfp, sussex
-
Tell your customer that i will do it for nothing , after all im in this game to make absolutely nothing per week !

Hi Mark,
It's my house. I'm just starting my own round and was looking for help with pricing so I posted pictures of my windows to see what people would charge thus helping me with my own prices. There's a lot of similar houses to mine around here so the information has been most helpful. Also it was just interesting to me to see what the price difference is in different parts of the country as i've heard a lot about the North South divide.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for coming back to me, pricing vary from town to town in my home town Thetford, people would expect to pay about £6/£7 1o miles up the road in bury st edmunds it is £10/£12 no prizes for guessing where my round is.
Hope goes well for you
Cheers Mark.

give them 2 options:
£10 every 4 weeks or
£15 every 6 weeks
Second option will work for you better, cos you don't have to come every month but every 6 weeks, still same money ;)
-
£12 Bristol every 4weeks
-
a tenner 4 weekly.
trad or wfp-price the same as trad but do twice as quick with wfp( i would charge £10.00 wfp including the ones above the con and still be in & out in around 10 mins with clean frames)Gloucester
