Title: Pile flattening Carpet Marks

I recently cleaned a carpet for a friend where a water bed had previously been situated. The problem was large areas of compressed carpet that remained after I had cleaned the carpet. The method I used was foam shampoo (wet), using a standard floor machine.

Any suggestions?
