I have lurked too long so here is the first of a long list

Im working on a WFP trolley initially for home use, with one eye on starting a small round in a year or so tim ( my current work contract will be ended)

I am looking at a small round using no more than about 150l / day. Water being stored in a 205L butt.

My TDS reading on teh tap is 299, clearly an RO is the way to go. But my quandary is this. Do I go for a 100 gal / day unit. for circa £100 or do I dive in and future proof things by overspecing the RO?

Whats the combined view of the WFP guru's on here

100 gpd ro's are sooooo slooow.
Its 100 US gallons which is 375 ltrs and this is at the ideal temperature, water pressure etc over a 24hr period.
My advice would be to go for a boosted 300-450 gpd unit

SA thanks for that I kinda had an idea that would be the case. Initially speed wouldn't matter as Id run it with water stop of some kind so It could run 24H / on demand. but Id have to upgrade at some point
My thinking was £100 now or just under 400 for a gardiner Ro unit which seems to have the cahonnes to deal with anything thrown at it..
