Title: Pump advice please
Post by: Tony Edwards on December 31, 2012, 04:24:14 pm

I need to pump R/O water from the storage tanks in the garden down the side of the house into the van.

The van is parked out front and therefore I need to pump it over the fence and then along the path about 30mtrs/100 ft ish.

Any advice on a pump that is powerful enough to cover that distance. Looked on ebay but not sure there are powerful enough

cheers

Any of the transfer pumps you've seen should do it. Doesn't take a great deal of pressure to pump that far. Your mains water will do it so your pump definitely will.

Any decent 240volt submersible pump will do the job.  We have a set up similar to yours and use this one:
