TBH mine has gone down a teeny bit. But that is due to culling the bad payers, etc.
Ive also had to get rid of awkward houses due to my shoulders starting to give up on me.

Im probably going to keep my window customers as they are (which is a very well priced round) and starting doing more add ons, connies upvc and pest control.

My website brings me in a good trickle of add ons, and when the pest control side is making good money, i will prob sell the windows. Whoever buys that, will have a dream round!!!!  But hopefully, my shoulders will hold out a bit more  ::)

Hi, i have noticed quite a few window cleaners doing pest control as a sideline.
Do you find you het much work through existing window cleaning customers as they know they can trust you to not rip them off etc. its something i have been thinking about but not got round to.
Is there a course that you went on, and what sort of insurence would i need.
Thanks.

it really is a saturated market, so you have to spend a lot of money on marketing. The advertising is something that never stops, and seo on a good website.

I went on a course with www.killgerm.com but i would check your area first, there will be loads of pest controllers about!!

The average mileage a pesty does a week is 400 miles, so you do need to cover a large area.

Nice 1 mate. Im going to look into this.
From what you told me im guessing not much custom comes from your existing window cleaning customers.
I have loads of customers in summer with wasp/ bee's nest's who surely would need a pest control service if out of hand. When was doing loft insulating on customers houses its madness how many houses have mice in there lofts nomatter how clean they seem to be.
Defo money to be made but i need to find all the in and outs out first.
Thanks again.

I think Mine have gone up every year for each year for about 8-9 years that includes the year I worked very part time when both my wife and son were seriously ill and I was drugged up on anti depressants. Thankfully that year was my first on WFP so I had a slight increase.
This year I am over 1.5k down on this time last year due to taking an extra two weeks to walk the coast to coast with my sons. Well that and the rain we have had.

Unfortunately NO.

My fault and addressing this year, did a post a few months ago about this.

Roll on spring, dont want to hike up too many in winter should be easier to replace custies in spring.

I have too much work for myself or i'm a bit slow at doing em :-[

Some changes happening in new year, already changed a few little things that have helped ;)

To be fair i earnt a little more this year and do feel the weather was a lot wetter than average, so roll on 2013 ;D

A prosperous new year to us all! ;)
