Title: Xmas Gifts
Post by: Dave. on December 22, 2012, 09:47:11 am
Hi Chaps & Chapettes,

A friend takes my cheques to the bank each week, she's not employed by my business.

I've bought her a gift for her efforts for Xmas.

Is this gift allowed to be offset against tax?

Regards, Dave

It'd have to be some gift to even worth thinking about!

You buy her a gift and then worry about it being tax deductable??????

Didn't they make a film or two about you???

Something about three ghosts visiting in the night lol?????

It wasn't about the value of the gift or the tax 'saved'.  I bought it with my business debit and was wondering where to document the receipt while I was doing my books for the month.

Thanks for your help anyway
