id think between me and my 3 workers we got about £200 all in which is treble on previous yrs. did get given a bottle of JD no.7 that would have made a lovely xmas day treat but has already been cracked open and down to the label now. might buy another for Xmas day

Blimey Robert, I'm amazed that between 4 of you, you only manage £200.
If you're not out on the tools and you're expecting your guys to declare the tips, then they're robbing you.
Either that or you're all miserable buggers :o ;D

another for you..
whilst letting it rest.... cover it in foil, it keeps the juice in..

Not reached £100 yet. Its been decreasing over the years since 2008. I remember gettn about £500.
Its just the way things are, its nice to have when you get em but cant expect it.

And to keep it warm.
Also, gently separate the skin from the bird and rub butter on the gap, all over the bird before cooking. This will stop it drying out.
I used to be a chef in the navy so I get to do most of the cooking ;D

Thanks for the tip. I'll pass it on to the cook.

Ive got about £250 in tips over the last month. A few bottles of wine that i'm giving to other people as presents ;) and a random cheese board lol
-
About £150ish in tips, 2 bottles of wine, chocolates etc from residential. A bottle of prosecco from a shop i do and one of those fancy crates of vintage wines from a company in London i do work for. never had anything from the commercials until this year which was a pleasant surprise.
Merry Christmas to you all,
Jon

I've raked in about the £350 mark so far, and a bottle of wine, slightly up on previous year, and still got 3 more days to collect on, happy days ;D ;D
merry crimbo and a good new year to all.
