Post by: trevor perry on December 21, 2012, 04:16:16 pm
just been looking at this machine and thought if this could be used through a wfp with a microfibre cloth then high level internal window cleaning would be a breeze, what are your thoughts video can be seen at www.steamjet.co.uk

That's a lot of money unless you do a lot of high internals

seems a lot but if hiring cherrypickers for internal work then you will soon recoup the costs

Not if you price the hire into the job.

I do understand where you're coming from, however, how many of your high level internals could you get full access to with a pole? Not many of ours.

With the combination of deep ledges, structural beams and cables, trellises, reception areas, etc, I know we would struggle.

Sometimes best off getting up close and personal :)

i agree up close is probably best but there are quite a few jobs where a cherrypicker just isnt practical ie stairwells and unsuitable flooring and i think this would be powerful enough to do sills and framework where the dragonfly just doesnt cut it. i think i will get a demo in new year and see if it would be easy to connect to a pole, if watching video forward to 1 min 30 to see in action

Getting close up and personal is definatley preferable, however how do you do it even 20 foot up with 8 foot by 8 foot panes, hire a baboon with long arms ?
