Title: Anybody Happy With Their Brodex Van System?
Post by: S.W. Window Cleaning on December 20, 2012, 01:26:20 pm
Hi,
Im looking at van systems and have used a Brodex system for a day. It seemed good. I see Brodex getting slagged off all the time. Just wondering is there anybody on here using one of their systems and would recommend it?
  Cheers,
     Steve

I have a Brodex DI, nothing at all wrong with it. Good piece of kit, nothing replaced within the last couple of years and can even fit a drain valve to the bottom of it, good for powerwashing. I'd still buy one as most parts are universal with all systems.

Poles and after sales are not that good though

Hi Steve,

I all so have a  second hand RO & DI Brodex system which i bought in the summer with all in one van package,

so far touch wood no problems works very well, it came with a 18 FT brodex pole which I find heavy, so in the new

year i intend buying a gardners 25 or 30ft SLX pole as everyone on this forum rave's about them being so light

and easy to use.

Regards lal

Hi,
Im in Northern Ireland and Brodex now have an agent over here in Portadown. The on line cleaning shop. I have gone and seen Arthur as well. The only thing I prefered with Brodex was the brass connectors they use for plugging the hoses in but maybe the plastic do as good a job? I thought they just looked like garden hose connectors that always leak.
 Cheers,
     Steve

Ive got a Brodex machine. The machine its self is not bad it does exactly what it says on the tin it purifies water. The poles are totally unusable in my view far too heavy and the clamps dont clamp the poses tightly enough. The customer service is non existance.

I also notices a web site that somebody has posted about brodex slagging them off and showing videos of some one trying to use there equipment and majorly struggling.

These dont cost alot at all, whoever you get your system from im sure they will change little things like that to your preferred specification.

The only thing I know about BRODEX systems is,yes they look the part but you can do the same thing yourself for a quarter of the price & buy yourself a GARDINER pole!
