Can someone in the know please tell me the difference

I have just signed up for apps, but keeps directing me to google Drive, is it the same thing

Good old Google, everything complicated as hell

Google App's is made up of...

Drive
Gmail
Calendar

Drive includes Google Docs, sites etc...
