Title: What's happening slow production??

What's happened to my merlin in the last 2 weeks to you merlin experts out there??It's water production is half what it normally is..
44psi off the mains like normal..
Normally 25 litres takes 17 mins but now takes 35 mins, any ideas are welcome!!!

When production slows down, doesnt that mean the membranes need renewing?  Just a thought. :-\

Like I say, just a thought, you'll get a real expert on the subject here in a mo, try not to fret! I could be wrong. ;)

Change your pre filter. Also temps under 1oC slow production from reading on my new di vessel. Mine fills a 1000 ibc over night 14-18 hours at just under 60psi and brings it from 370 to 30's. Not sure if thats good or not but it does me.

Like Mick says, water viscosity slows my 300 gpd RO to half it’s usual production in the cold.

Could be an air lock. Happened to me a few weeks ago.
Strip it down and put it back together, I know a couple of people this happened to.
Works fine now.
