I was just wondering, does anyone remember back in the day when we were all struggling with what caused spotting?
Do you remember some of the suggested remedies postulated by those who proved more avent guard among us?
How about:
Leaving our brushes in a bucket of pure water between jobs, then over night during the week and then for 48 hours over the weekend.
Or, adding 1 to 5 drops of screen wash in our tanks.
Or, dipping our brushes in a bucket of pure water with various, and most probably negligible, dilutions of GG3/4 between each window.
Or, cleaning the frames with one pole to be followed by a second appropriated pole just for the glass.
Can you remember anymore?
All of the above were proposed anti-spotting procedures and some individuals swore by them.
I’ve got to confess, I tried them all as I made the transition to WFP, just 8 years ago, in a time when nobody seemed to know how to prevent them.
Cheers!

Or how about the most important one!
Keep a low ppm 5 or less!! Lol
Personally I don't use water over 002ppm

I remember being told on the forums that I could earn £60k a year.
Lies, all damned lies.

Or, using silicon remover in an effort to acquire a more hydrophobic, spot resistant glass.

Pure water burns your eyes.
Pure water eats through metal
Pure water strips your innards out
Pure water is aggressive
Pure water is acidic
Pure water eats algae
Pure water strives to return to its natural state
Pure water heats up glass

Ah yes. Many of these are true and accurate - except the spelling of avant garde ;D
