Title: My Rules
Post by: Mr Sparkle on December 13, 2012, 05:48:22 pm
Bit P***ed off today as couldn't work due to trolley and brushes froze over and tommorrow they have forecsat heavy rain all day here in the west midlands, Got a lot of 6 weekly cleans which i need to do as need to earn the doller,
Just going out and working tommorrow even if it is heavy rain as if the customers don't want windows cleaned in the rain then there no good to me as customers as i need customers to be cleaned in any weather
Am i right? Or should i not work tommorrow?
At the end of the day if we don't work we don't get paid

If its heavy rain I won't work in it.

I wouldn't want my windows cleaned in heavy rain.
Light rain, yep, heavy, no thanks. I hate working and getting wet. I have to say, I've been going for a few years now and my prices allow me to earn what I need in about 10 to 12 working days. Somewhere in any month, I've managed more or less to get it all done. If you're so full that you have to go out, then you have to go out.

Good luck. I think you've got a good attitude.

Yes i took trolley indoors last night but by the time i got to first job at 9 clock it had frozen over again  :'( :'(.

Tomo is about 7 degrees but heavy rain but definetly working .
Customers need to be brainwashed that we clean in heavy rain and all weather otherwise we don't want them as customers and they can get there fat ugly arses out there and clean them therselves ;D

I don't think there's any hard and fast rules.

Some work in any weather and some don't.

I don't think there's any one rule that fits all window cleaners and all customers.

This is the position i'm in. Price so you don't have to work in rain.  ;)

thats because you dont like getting wet Damo  :P.

James posted it right, hood up, head down , plod on.  ;D

Personally I would not mind if my windows were cleaned in the rain.

All about mindset IMO (the one your using at the moment is a costly one from where im sitting) but each to thier own
