Hi there, I am currently trad but would like to move over to wfp for the new year, been looking for quite some time but still slightly confused on all the bits I would need etc. If anyone can advise I would be very greatful.
I plan on getting a van with the system already built in, ideally something like a berlingo, connect, kangoo size, for around 2.5k - 3k with something like a 350ltr tank. The water in Essex is quite hard so I will need an RO and DI, ideally I would like the whole water purification process to take place inside the van, so assuming I get all the parts fitted in the van, will all I need to do be to run my hose from the back garden out to van and fill the tank?
Also just roughly as I know the answer will vary slightly, on average how many ltrs would be needed on a 3 bed semi all round? And what RO GPD would I need? I'm not sure it will be safe to run the hose to the van overnight as I dont have a driveway so would like to be able to fill the tank relatively quickly with the water being purified within say 2 hours? Is this unrealistic?
Insurance wise, do I need to state that there is a water tank etc fitted in the back? Or is this not an issue as long as the tank etc are all fitted correctly? If so, does this normally put the insurance cost up quite a bit? Slightly worried about that as I've only just turned 21 so insurance is fairly high for me as it is on a van.
Sorry for all the questions but this will be every penny I have so can't afford a mistake! Thank you, Tom

You can look at the equipment for sale section. Also speak to the Main WFP suppliers. There are used systems out there. You can also Van mount the entire system including the RO/DI.

if you have the space then a static system is what will be the safest for you.
if you want to make water quick then a 4040 will do this for you (whats the tap pressure and flow like at your house ?) you may need a booster pump, are you looking to expand ?
3 bed semi when you first start out is going to use alot of water maybe 75l maybe more this will depend totally on you.
when you looking to go over to wfp ?
getting a secondhand van with system fitted is a good option to save on cost yet get you big enough for what you need

Might also be worth asking if there's anyone on here who works in your area willing to show you their setup? And maybe take you out for a bit ?
There's nothing like a bit of 'hands on' ;D
