It needs some work on the ads. They show as commercial every time. Are youbjust after commercial work?

I don't know how it's done, I'm a window cleaner. That's why my original post said how much would people pay? All I know is when I type certain things in I come top, is it really that easy then

It is an hour's work at most. If someone charged you £100 that would not be unreasonable, but don't forget you will be charged about £2-£3 each time someone clicks. If I were you I would remove the thread or people will be clicking left, right and centre.

He won't be charged that much. I used to have an Adwords account for window cleaning. It was costing me an average of 43p per click.  It is expensive long term advertising, but good in the short term to get immediate traffic and help your organic listing.

It depends on a number of factors. Location, maximum set bid per click, competition. Given he is top, he is bidding high for the click. My experience is around £2 per click and I would think London would be more expensive as there is more compipetition.

I'm not sure that it helps your organic listing though. Where did you hear that?

The ad itself won't, but the traffic it generates will.

You improve your ranking with backlinks and keyword rich unique text and other ways. Getting hits on your site does not help at all. Your solar site is nicely optimised.

Is anyone using "rich snippets" yet to improve their ranking?

I haven't tried it myself yet, but looking into it at the moment.
