Hi Brian
Had email a couple of days ago but video did not load cheers for link...Been down Ashbys about a month ago, looks a nice built machine.
Richard

Yes and told them to contact you, as your machines have seen better days ;D
-
i'm in the market for a new machine right now however can't get my head around wether to go truck mount (large expense) or porti. So far porti has done me proud not sure a TM would improve on present situation. Confused old carpet cleaner""""" :-\
-
Hi Len
Is that me or Mr B or both. :)
Richard
-
Price wise and spec wise it's a better deal than
the new Altec machine.
The Jag comes in between although the lack of
an in tank heater puts me off that.

Richard
I'm TM, ja get me?
-
Was there ever any development in the ashbys vs airflex debacle?
-
This may sound like a daft question but I have the same vacs in my Ninja, the 3 stage 5.7 standard and the 3 stage hd and a 400psi pump. so would my machine have the same performance as the Enforcer albeit with a smaller tank?
Kev.

I bought the Airflex Storm a few weeks ago and managed to use it on a job last week. I was very impressed with it, we used it at 50 feet with 2inch pipe and it was very powerfull , i would say about 3/4 of the power of my truckmount, excellent pump on it.
If your going to buy a new porty then get one with the new vacs on, for me it was a toss up with the Jag and the Storm, both have similar performance. What won it for me is that the Storm is made in the UK and looks miles better than the Jag.

I think the enforcer does look great.
I believe the shell has been custom made by ashbys, it's not an import like the ninja.

I emailed both parties a month ago >:(, no reply
-
Paul, If our customers went on looks over performance, you & me wouldn't get an awful lot of work ::)
Maybe the gay disco dalek is prettier to some but customers ALWAYS mention how powerful the Jaguar 6.6 looks and love that they see the difference between clean & waste water etc ........... I like that I can see water levels at a distance ;)
-
I Have had a reply from Matt at Cleansmart now, includes the following;
" our complaint has now been taken up by the advertising standards authority and is with their investigation team"
-
Chris speak for yourself. Im the best looking carpet cleaner in Wales 8)
So Billy keeps telling me ;D

North Wales, maybe..

I run a Scorpion(looks the same as the Jag). Personally, I couldn't care less what it looks like. My customers seem to think it looks industrial though. +1 for looks in my book then. Its fairly light. +1 in my books. Can see water levels. +1. Don't particullary like where the waste gate is situated. -1.
There are so many pro's and con's but I'm more than happy with my machine!!
I think we all forget that we like different things at times!!!!

Richard
Mr b only tormenting you

Perhaps not that much in it comparing similar spec ...
The Alltec has 600psi , two 600+ airwatt motors , 3kw immersion , and 2kw inbuilt heater . Price ( 3100)
Using the same max ampdraw on two cords as the Alltec , the enforcer 400 has a few amps less vacuum but a few more amps more heat .
So you can have 400psi , one 600+ airwatt electro motor + one standard 450 airwatt electro , 3kw immersion and 3kw inbuilt steammate .
The price about 2800
If you opt for the 600psi enforcer its a two cord machine without heat but you get two of the 600+ airwatt electros , you have to opt for the external steammate for about 600 though .... total about 2800 , also no option i can see for immersion .
The Alltec is a couple of hundred more perhaps , but it has the best , imo use of two cords of any portable .
Enforcer has more flexible spec/price options though .
Enforcer looks like quality , great video also ....

Why the flow control did not get it with the TM nor did I have it with the powr flite what other machines use it
-
Paul billy is calling you the best looking carpet cleaner in Wales for other reasons ;)
If I were going to truck mount a porti I wouldn't use the enforcer I just don't think it's man enough, the alltec machine sounds powerful enough but you could go the whole hog and import the mytee etm or simular.

I cant believe that martin did not agitate the carpet before he cleaned it
-
Martin

-
I have owned one for 6 months. Can't fault it. i added extras when purchasing can't comment on other machines apart from the enforcer.

Can I ask what upgrades you bought? And how usefull they've been?
Mr B
-
Sure I had an built in heater (wouldnt go without one). Auto drain and auto fill plus a remote system (which is just a plug in job which can be bought from b and q anyway).
This gives you the ability after setup to not have to return to the machine for a whole job.
I do alot of dirty end of tenancy cleans and this allows me to clean efficiently without having to stop and refill etc (mainly for the big 3,4,5 bed houses) no need for autofill on the smaller cleans.
Hope this helps.

So there I told you!!! You don’t need TM just extra long lead and hose pipe and twiddle with the flow control till you get it right (which I don’t get perhaps Dan can explain the need for it ???)
Dan
Do you own your domain name ;) or suckered in like most ;D (care what you put in you FW system ???)

Not quite sure what your getting at?

Dan
Have you owened or used other machines and how would you compare the enforcer to them
cheers Jim

I had a older altec machine. Good workhorse but wanted someone a bit bigger with regards to clean and dirty tank capacity.
Compared to that the enforcer is fantastic but couldn't use that as a direct comparison.
Email me if you want anymore info on enforcer
All the best
