Post by: mark turton on December 10, 2012, 07:30:18 pm
hi guys
have hot water extraction machine walk behind with brusher bar.

would this be wise to use on flotex carpet ?

im concerned of over wetting ? and also the pile lifting right afterwards?

havent looked at yet but know from pass threads this isnt necessarily an easy clean.

any help out there?

Hi Guys

All the nylon fibres in Flotex are perpendicular to the base, that is they stick straight uo.

This gives a massive resistance and any pad system is likely to struggle and it won't do the motor much good.

As for a walk behind it will depend on the resistance, but could be an issue.

Cheers
