hi guys
have hot water extraction machine walk behind with brusher bar.
would this be wise to use on flotex carpet ?
im concerned of over wetting ? and also the pile lifting right afterwards?
havent looked at yet but know from pass threads this isnt necessarily an easy clean.
any help out there?

i asked this question before i used my df on a flotex carpet and done ok allthough people say flooding them is the best option ???

hi you did this with a walk behind portable extractor - and how did you lift pile after?

You don't set pile on flotex

Hi Guys
All the nylon fibres in Flotex are perpendicular to the base, that is they stick straight uo.
This gives a massive resistance and any pad system is likely to struggle and it won't do the motor much good.
As for a walk behind it will depend on the resistance, but could be an issue.
Cheers
