What's best/easiest way to remove wax from 80/20 wool

I did it on Saturday with a towel and iron, worked great.

I have a Catholic church to do next Thursday, quite a lot of the stuff, usually try solvex but may try an iron with towel or brown paper which i have heard is better????

Went to one a couple of weeks ago where the customer had tried the iron and paper technique and had managed to ruin the carpet!

Has to be the non shiny type of brown paper so it absorbs the wax when you iron over it.

window cleaners scrim(absorbent) and just the tip of the hot iron not left on the scrim for more than a couple of seconds and repeat, repeat, repeat :)

Or blotting paper but if they ask to see your insurance run a mile  ;D
