Hi guys
Can anyone help I've done a few ovens and do quite a good job on them where customers have been happy but I'm not as I've not got the stubborn carbon marks off when you know they will come off.
Do any of you know how I will get these marks off?

This is actually a tip I was introduced to by one of my cleaners. Try mixing bicarbonate of soda with water, you should get sort of paste, which you can spread over the oven with a cloth. Leave it for 30 minutes, so that is soaks in and soften all the marks and other dirt. Then you can either use one of those spongy oven scrapers or just a regular wallpaper scraper. Be careful though, it's easy to scratch the oven with a wallpaper scraper. I use a cheap plastic one I've found in a hardware store somewhere in Central London. Hope it helps!

Hi Jim mca, I use the Northern enviro chemicals heavy duty and antibac degreasers but none of the others, is the Vanquish chemical caustic? might give it a go to see if it works better.

Use stainless steel scourers with your preferred spray or gels great combination with terrefic results.
