Hi guys,
I'm after a frame for my 400L upright. Don't want anything too fancy or expensive.
Had a bit of a look around. the cleaning warehouse one doesn't seem to be too sturdy but its not a bad price. Im just looking for something cheapish that will do the job.

Contact a local welding/fabricating company if you want something more sturdy it wont be cheap but you put a price on your life .
If your tank ends up through your bulkhead and kills you in a crash .
And you need to check with your insurer before having tank fitted . Mike

you will get a better quality frame made for a better price by going to a local fab/welding shop

Contact Grippamax, they do a 400l based on their crashtested 650 and 1000l systems. Buy cheap buy twice, having seen the purefreedom crash test you can easily see that anything that isn't crash tested will not cut it. Your life, but cages are expensive to begin with, I think I paid over £400 when I had my old purefreedom 400l cage. Might as well pay more and do it once properly. I've got the Grippamax 650 now, just the tank and restraints and it's brilliant. I'm sure it will outlive me, it's bombproof.

Thanks guys. i know the safety issues. im well aware of all that. i was just wanting some other companies besides cleaning warehouse that sells frames.
grippamax only do a 400 flat tank frame from what ive seen.
Also, i was under the impression you bolt the frame to the chassis rails. or do you bolt through the floor and use spreader plates underneat the van? I doubt the floor of the van would hold the bolts in a crash.

If i was still in the welding game id knock you guys a frame up no probs .
If anyone has any dimmensions of frames that they want making i can get them done to order at a good price .
