I'm looking for a portable stand alone heater that's safe to run in a closed van
I heard the cost is about £2 a night which is nothing considering losing a days work
-
B&Q got a good deal at the moment for oil radiators if thats what you mean??
-
I stick 2 big ones in each van, one by the pumps and one by the reels.
Does the job, don't care if it costs £20 a night, will pay for itself the next day, and some.

dont be surprised if your van still freezes with an oil filled rad, I found that out the hard way :(

Never had it freeze yet with 2 in.
-
Oh so do I need 2? Is it really £20 for both?
-
Don't have to have 2, I just experienced issues with only 1.

We have gone down a different route.
We have 2x 4ft electric tubular greenhouse heaters in the van, cheap to run. Was -7 outside here last night, nothing frozen in van.
