normally the hose that comes in or out of the pump pinches together another great one is the battery clips work loose which becomes very annoying.

if you dont have a waterflow controller on backpack   the water will come out on full flow to your brush and soon empty your backpack.     if you need to empty your backpack turn waterflow fully on , open tap,   this is how fast your water will come out without a flow controller. or turn your tap on slowly to get a required flow,    i done this till i got a new flow controller fitted.  wasted a lot of water.

We've been using the WCW backpack for a couple of years now and it's a great bit of kit for the money with only a couple of little niggles.

bypass water back into backpack if the flows to fast. pole hose & a Y  connector is all you need.

I used a back pack for 4 years and it has served me well. The only problem i had was the wiring coming loose, In the end I soldered a 2nd set wires with a second switch if one failed i would use the other. I think a controller on these packets are not needed for w/c as they only put 2.6 liters of water on the glass which to be honest if you use less will not clean properly as its to little water.I took my controller out after the first winter and by passed that problem. ;) ;) ;)

think mine is about 2 litres per minute which is fine for a good rinse.

I have found out its not the backpack its my pole.
I have tried the backpack and its fine with my smax.
With the clx 22 its no good so i put it down to some dodgy hose from aquadapter.
Looks like i bettet get some more hose.
