Yes, two reasons. 1, an 8L heater is not necessary, and possibly going to run to hot in the winter if only on a used on a one man setup, and 2, as I wanted to run 2 reels I didn't want the 20min cut off because using two poles at the same time there is a high possibility that it will easily run constantly for 20 mins, and the last thing you want, especially in the winter, is the cutoff coming in and it stop heating the water.

Also Nat had the 6l version and it caught fire after 9 months of use. But maybe he just had a bad one. Oh that was 3 reasons  ;D

I doubt it, but I'm sure the same goes for any of the heaters as they are all imported from either china or the states.

I have one they come from China. The one I have works well but sensitive to a breeze when the doors are open.It took me a few day to adept to working with this system. If you need to know I will try to help. All my problems I had was with the hoses and and real.  You must use a hose like thermobore.

That one should be fine, q few on here use them.

The 20 min cut off shuts the heater down after continually running for 20 mins. this isnt a problem for 1 man setups and most will be turning the flow off between windows, of when going from the front to the back of the house, and this resets it. As i wanted a heater to run 2 reels, there was a high possibility that it would be running for 20 minutes or longer, and i didnt want the heater cutting off and stop heating the water.

well we would be running one with a one reel setup and the other with a 2 reel setup, are you saying that if you turn the water off before 20 mins is up the timer resets, i am sure this would happen even with 2 reels, as you say moving from back to front etc.

Yes the timer resets if the flow is stopped.
