For you guys who use them just wondered how much of difference they make?are they worth the money?

i was very sceptical about them at first but then i got one to try and wont use anything else now, it took me a couple of days to get used to it but far superior then the plastic ones..so yeah i would say there worth the extra and will last for years.

Interested to know why?
Just about to get one for our SL2, as we need the deep reach for a long run of commercials, but for daily use, I can't yet see where it fits, as you can't adjust the angle for fascia/soffits/conservatorys etc.

for me the majority of my work is straight forward window cleaning i don't do many cons roofs etc, so i would probably agree that maybe a plastic one might be better for them to give you the option of adjusting the angle although i have done a facia clean with one without problems and windows over a cons room are no problem with them either.

Got a couple wouldnt be without them now. Originally bought one for a deep dormer. Was so impressed bought another to use on every day windows.

I was unsure whether it'd be any good for me as I'm mainly domestic. But I felt like p1 in that it took a couple of days to get used to it.
The main benefits I found were that my slx felt more 'balanced' with it, and the angle seems perfect for 99% of the time.
I did a job today where I needed to switch to a different brush set up, so I took off my carbon gooseneck which has the extreme brush on it, and put on the soft SL with swivel resi, blimey, the pole felt heavier and was quite whippy and I realised how excellent the carbon set-up can be.

i have three of em.they are very light and just great to use.easy to swap as well.i like the fact the brush is fixed on the gooseneck with screws as i was always knocking my brush on the screw on thread type goosenecks and couldnt quite get it to line up properly half the time nice and tight!! ;D ;D
it makes cleaning velux windows easier and conny roofs.also great for deep ledge windows and reaching sills on awkward windows above connies/extensions.
i use them all the time for all my work.coupled with an extreme brush and no aqua-daptor on a 25ft SLX its the perfect ultra lightweight pole for 90% of my work.

i love them so much i bought three and the extra long one which is brill for certain types of jobs . cant rate them highly enough so light......

I use them on all my poles. They are good for us, because we used to break a lot of goosenecks. Now this isnt such a problem. In fact 2 of our carbon goosenecks broke after 8 months use, which Gardiners said wasnt right so they replaced them.
In terms of how useful they are for window cleaning domestics... I dont believe they are worth paying for and they make the cleaning marginally less intuitive IMHO.

I've got the extra deep one that I bought for a particular job, but I haven't used it on anything else.
I did consider buying a shorter one for everyday use, but I find the adjustability of the plastic ones very handy.
And as it turns out I don't have the job I bought the carbon gooseneck for anymore! D'oh!

I love it! Got the extreme 25ft. It's the best pole I own by a long way.

Try out the new 55 degrees neck, got one on on a 60ft pole much better i think.

Nic do you swap your extreme for a standard SL brush ? , which would have caused the your pole to be heavier and whippy i find the standard SL brush feels like it is 3x as heavy as an extreme . Mike

Yeah Mike, I swapped it over for a certain job I do, I can't reach the lower glass with the extreme brush on. I found with the normal SL brush on, it is just as you said. ;D

That's what I was looking at for our 60, with a wide extreme brush.
The greater coverage should speed things up slightly at that height.

the 55 degree gooseneck comes as standard with all poles over 30ft.i got one with my 40ft SUPERMAX. ;D ;D ;D ;D
