Title: Dry Fusion Restore Brush
Post by: Phil @ Extreme Clean on December 04, 2012, 06:12:35 pm
is it me or are they that expensive to make they have to sell them at that price or do they just know how hard it is to get a brush to fit the DF that they make the price extortionate because you can pickup a rotary with brushes etc for less p's me off. You see new brushes for diff machines at £50 how can DF one's be so much more to make ??????

You still not got one, you've been asking for one for a year or more. How much are they?

I ordered one yesterday from Tony at Dry Fusion, asked him for his best price: £148 plus the VAT. Apparently they are just getting a new stock in from Germany. The new ones are red. Must have come down a bit in price. I wanted one for ages but thought they were too expensive. I am going to be cleaning carpets for the next ten years or so, so I'm sure it will earn it's money. Have a word with Tony and put your order in !      ;D

why do you need the brush? i sold mine as i didnt use it

i got a grey scrub pad from Solutions a few years ago, stitched it to a bonnet and it actually works better as it doesnt fold over the fibres as much - it opens them up

to be honest if you are using the right prespray i find a little dwell and then straight on with the restore pads from DF normally works well without prebrushing any way

save yaself the cash

the DF brush is a good un and it benefits from being able to send the DF heat through it

however, with the weight of the machine and a good prespray, there are better and cheaper alternatives for those who think they cant afford the proper DF brush

i think they mean the stripping pads you get them in red black etc but all them need replacing the restore brush should last years and as said above tony at DF is waiting on an order of cheaper version made by same company i asked why there cheaper and are they still good quality he assured me they are  :)
