If its a first floor window just shorten your pole before you slip it through the bars as it will make manouverabilty (think thats how you spell it) easier

So the manager is happy for me to pole above the bars and just rinse, or spray water on the bottom of the glass through the bars. No ladders allowed :o.

what brushes do you use Chez ?

we clean ones with juliette balconies and use gardiners standard brushes, the exterme range are half the size I would be shocked if bars are as close together as about 1 to2 inches the brush stock on extremes

most of this link can be cleaned with these brushes, the glass ones i have not worked out how to clean behind yet :(
