Title: Phoenix 570i
Post by: Luc on November 27, 2012, 09:59:16 pm
As Xmas is coming soon I am thinking of treating myself as I've been a good boy all year to one of John gotts new TM.  I have looked at maybe buying a new engine for my old boxer 318 which is 4 years old with 3600 but fancy something newer and slightly more powerful.  Having run air cooled machines the last 6 years I've decided my next buy would be liquid cooled TM. Has/ does anyone run the 570i? I have always been please with the service I get from John and his team and like the look of the 570i. I would just appreciate anyone' thoughts or for and against

Hi, I would whole heartedly recommend the Phoenix 570 have owned mine about six months, before that I ran a maxx and I thought that was the bees knees at the time but the 570 is miles better with better heat more vacuum and running it on auto gas is a lot cleaner than the old diesel.
There's quite a few of us now running the Phoenix I dare say you'll get a few more replies, so yes if you want to upgrade liquid cooled is the way to go.

When on gas how much do it cost per hour to run and what are you paying for gas?

Seen one a few days ago and very impressed.

Can the water tank be fitted under the machine as in the Boxer 421?

Thanks
Mark

Gas works out approx 40% cheaper the machine is too heavy to sub mount.

James,  I do most of the serviceing myself,  the oil change and blower and pump oil is quite easy to change.  If I have any major problems hydrmaster have a service center in Oxford.  There is also a really good engine suppliers in Dunmow I go to.
