Cool. What would be the going rate for that kind of work as I am interested in other types of work.

Quotes can vary wildly because access is often the main issue. We do nothing to any array for less than £30. Did a 19 panel job last week for £60 and got another 18 panel to do this week for £60.

Given the costs and that I wouldn't have use for anything over my SLX25 on other jobs i've decided against advertising solar panels, at least at the moment. I saw this as a great new market, but when I actually worked out what pole(s) i'd need to do them all I decided against it for now.

how well do solar panels actually come up after a clean can you really tell the difference i.e before and after shots
not really been asked to do it before so im curious and does it make much difference to the energy produced when clean

it does make a difference to the amount of energy that you can get trough them, dont know by how much though as not looked into it.
They are very easy to clean to, I remember doing a roof full of them a couple of years back and I overpriced them as didnt know how they would take to do (vikan soft sill brush) heavy was good as it held the brush to the panel easier.
money for old rope IMO
these companies that have some up with a solar panel brush are excellent at marketing ;D

Surprisingly little difference in output I found when cleaning my own. Most of this wet weather cleans them off anyway.
Might be different after they've been up for a few years.

We find little difference when we clean ours at our little place in Varna Bulgaria
However we are just playing about with google at the moment and are aiming for the top spot throughout the UK with
Solar Panel Cleaners
be interesting to know which areas we show up on page 1

We use gardiner extreme 25 at the mo and will be purchasing the 47ft version shortly.

We don't do anything for less than £30, but got 2 19 panel jobs at £60 each this week. One was on a bungalow.

Increased yield depends on how long the panels have been installed as well a quite a few other factors. We find each job is unique. Typical increases vary from 10% to 30% although we had a job about a month ago who came back to us and said their increase in generation was 60%. They were beginning to go green though.
We have more info on the solar site.
