Title: what do you think of this

i liked the idea of having 3 dif sprays at hand at once instead of going back and forth to van, anyone know of any others like this?

is it worth the money?
is it a good bit of kit?
is it heavy with the 3 bottles?

andy and steve could i ask if you use portys of t/m's
could i be that the people getting rust problems are using a t/m and leaving it in the van with the steam and condensation
and the ones not getting the prob are using portys?

I thin you are better off having dedicated sprayers for each application as you can never get the nozzles and pipework perfectly clear of the previous product and you always require different nozzle sizes depending on what you are doing.

Post by: stains-away on February 04, 2006, 07:25:25 pm: I had mine given to me,so cant say what theyre like for the money,if i had to pay for one new i wouldnt have it because im tight ;D, id buy a decent pump up sprayer instead, like everything else it needs rinsing through/cleaning to aviod the jet blocking, its not heavy but when moving it about i tend to gat hooked up on the lance

Post by: Spot On cleaning on February 04, 2006, 07:36:02 pm: Iv'e got one, and the frame rusted badly, cable kept twisting, it packed up a few times so i had to strip the pump down inside as it used to stick and the jet went. Apart from that they are great.

Better to buy cheap garden sprayers like i did. They work okay or pressure sprayer for tms.

Post by: gort on February 04, 2006, 11:41:40 pm: I have had mine for 10 years now yes it can get a little chipped but all you have to do is touch it up I must say though you just cant wear it out I recomend it. Just look after it well and you wont be disappointed.

Seems better value for money than those plasticky spray mate thingys. Looks the biz for the customer aswell.

and sure as hell beats having to pump up and down on a manual sprayer

Post by: Steve Chapman on February 15, 2006, 08:28:32 pm: I use a couple of rechargeable sprayers (5 litre) made by draper, there about £70 and absolutely magic, a full charge lasts about a week and you can go anywhere with them without plugging in, probably not as powerful as the extracta type, but way better than any of the pump up types and cheap enough to have several for different applications! :)
