Derek
I am going to put my neck on the line here! I have never rated hard floor wands against a decent Rotary and a good quality Wet vac for Hard Floor cleaning. I realise there are lots who would disagree but I cannot see the point of screwing up a good Portable or a Truckmount for this type of cleaning. As well as having to run hose and cable to the area to be cleaned, hard floor cleaning is totally different to carpet cleaning and 90% of the time the crap that is coming off a hard floor being cleaned is a lot worse than anything that comes off a carpet. I have always believed that a mechanical cleaning system fitted with the correct tools coupled with a decent wet vac and using the appropriate chemical for the contaminant will do a far better job than any wand on the market. So to anyone that disagrees why don't we meet up with a suitable floor and try it> That is with me doing 50% of the floor and them doing the other 50% with any wand they like and any extraction system they like. We would then be able to prove who is right ;). If I am wrong I will admit it on every public forum I can think of and go home with my tail between my legs. Let us also not forget a decent 3000watt Wet Vac and a half way decent rotary both new costs around £700 in total. I also realise I tell everyone to buy the Rocky and that is around £1200 with a decent wet vac but we have never had one single complaint about the Rocky of which we have now sold a couple of hundred. we have had 3 complaints in total about the Wet Vacs 2 about the wheels and one motor and we have sold around 1000+ of the Vacs. So we have virtually 100% reliability. In addition any Rocky that breaks down through no fault of the operator I guarantee to replace it within 24 hours! Beat that?

Well, FairPlay to you Kev, I must admit, I tend to agree with Kev, used honing powder once and picked up the slurry with hard floor wand and Tm, took some sort of cleaning out

Sorry to be another annoying git sticking his nose in but an ordinary wand with a glide works just as well.

i'll let john have it, he might stop pickin on me if i do. ;D
i'm still un decided and might be buying a wetvac now.
-
Derek, it's far better than a wet vac and wont do what a wet vac will do.
It will blast the slurry off the floor into the vac slot using high psi.
Goodness me why do I have to educate people. ;D
Never the less......I'll still have it if Derek doesn't want it and have it as a spare.
