Title: The Best Sprayer(applying chems)
Post by: Nameless Drudge on November 24, 2012, 08:40:20 am
I`m looking for a quality hand held/backpack sprayer,10 Litres appx. To clarify,i`ve used a sprayer this week to apply hypo on decking, tfr on 2 trucks, normally i might be spraying conservatory roofs, facias soffits etc,(nozzle adapted to the end of a pole).
I don`t possess anything i regard as good quality but then i`ve never spent more than £20 ish!
So can anyone recommend a very good one and where to buy?

I have a Gloria hand held and a solo knapsack - You need viton seals and be easily able to get spares

I've heard the IK series of sprayers does well with chems. Pretty pricey though.

The back of my van is a sprayer graveyard, im using one at the moment, hozelock, cheap one, with a frankenstein of hose/trigger/lance from other dead sprayers.

I used to have an IK 12 backpack. Always leaked down my back so fukced it off.

We've got IK 9's too for acid, good on the seals but you need to look after the wands and hose.

IK made by Goizper.

Agratech are good prices http://www.agratech.co.uk/Goizper_Industrial_Sprayers/
