Thinking about buying a powerpole for gutter/soffit/fascia cleaning to people that have one are they worth the money and are they heavy?
Or
I have an old facelift pole that i dont use anymore could i adapt this somehow to do the same thing?
Thanks

Anyone????

Trust me mate its not worth knackering your shoulders and neck using these heavy poles on soffit/gutter/fascia cleaning.you need a full carbon pole like an slx with extreme brush.otherwise you could end up with a nasty injury.

I want 2/3 of what they cost new, it has the connectors and eveerything else that I bought from omni pole, is it heavy will depend on you it is workable it is solid. if you check out omnipoles site it will tell you exactly the spec (i dont know them off the top of my head sorry)

What's a 'powerpole' when it's at home?

hi all
i use a telescopic lance for cleaning fascias etc and they are a little heavy to work with but the end result is far superior than doing it with a brush.
with a pressure washer you get in all the crack and bits brushes cant get and the air vent on the underside of the fascia comes up better than doing it with a brush.
im not saying you cant do a good job with a brush but in my opinion the telescopic lance wins.
also if you look on northern tools website you will see that there is a new gadget that lowers and raises the pole with the force of water to save your back, this is something im going to get to make life easier.

thanks Cliff the northern tools lance is one i have looked at for doing the job as i agree with you a brush doesnt do as good a job
Do you do many fascia cleans would an electric pressure washer(karcher/nilfisk style) be man enough for the job dont want to spend too much as i dont do many fascia cleans and if i dont get much work for it i can always keep it for washing the van and motorbike

Mines a honda petrol 3600psi
I dont have the power all the way up when doing it i spray it with a turbo nozzle on go over it once then brush it quickly if there are any stubburn stains then spray over it again.
A typical 3 bed semi takes 5 mins to do the front.
Very easy.
