Title: Upholstery Tool Recommendations

I've been using a Kleenrite Upholstery tool for the last number of years until it finally disintegrated yesterday!

I've bought a new “Easy-grip” stainless steel upholstery tool from prochem so I could be back in operation for Christmas.

My questions are as follows -

Can the Prochem Sapphire Upholstery Pro Hand Tool be used with a portable?
Can anyone recommend what upholster tool do they use?

The sapphire can be used with both tm's and portable, brilliant tool.

I still use my old Drimaster but I hear the Sapphire has the added advantage of lockable trigger ....... so best of both worlds  ;)

Wait for Jim Neal, he is the authority on hand tools, he will be along later with some great advice ;) inparticulary for the Saphire hand tool :D

I like the CFR 3"... very versatile and well constructed, you can buy additional nozzles to suit the job you are working on.. i use this tool a lot, i also have the 5" version too

I have the drimaster and a cfr

Gotta say I wouldn't be without either but the cfr is more versatile

I've had the sapphire and didn't like it IMO it didn't clean deep enough.

Is the CFR the same as the Drimaster with the
exception that it as on one vac slot whereas the
DM has two?
I have the DM but to buy new the CFR is considerably
cheaper for the omission of a vac slot.

was using the Kleenright tool but recently purchased a Prochem Truckmount upholstery cleaning tool. Works ok for me and allot quicker and good heat at the tip
