Anybody use them thinking of getting one just wondered if they are any good or just more to break ? We usually reel out with reels in van but getting fed up with banging my head ;D
-
Never had any problems with mine except worn hozelox.
-
made mine myself, piece of aluminium with 90 bend and a 90p hozelock form wilkinsons.
the new one i made has 2 hozelocks one was going to be for filling.
the only problem i have had in 2 years is that i used cheap garden hose at first, and in the summer in went soft and popped off the hozelock.
i replaced with thick hose and been there for 18 months.

Got ports so could lock up the van, but it is a pain lifting the reels in and out of the van.
Good point is you don't have to be too bothered how you park up, as you can move, and point reels in any direction.

Nice one cheers guys van port it is ;D

I have two ports on the side one for tap water in and one for waste out.
And a port on the back of the van for cleaning.
Can keep my van locked at all times.
I dont know if your insurance would cover your van if you left it unlocked
while working at the back of a house.
