I am looking at a van mounted system, but need some good honest independant advice.
Firstly I have just received through the post a Ionic Magazine. Is there anybody out there using their new Zero system, also all of their systems seem to be very expensive. Are they worth the money.
How many of you are using either a 3 KW or 9KW heater on your systems...Are they worth the money as they are a couple of thousand pounds.
What other companies out there can you guys on the ground recommend. Im not looking for cheap and I am willing to pay that bit extra for relaibility.
Also having recently subscribed to Window cleaning Magazine, their section on best pole, the SLX Gardiner came out on top...Would you all agree.......!!!
As i am new to all this I really would value your advice. As I dont want to get ripped off.

i havent used them but those on here who have say they are very good, personnally i would have a van mount from somewhere else as they are a lot cheaper and do the same job, or you could build one yourself, but make sure its secured properly, personaly i wouldnt fit one myself,

your best off going through all the back topics on this forum as your questions have been asked and answered many times plus there is a wealth of info on it all (not saying you shouldn't ask, but you can go through it all in your own time).
I personally would not use ionics for systems as i think its just all overpriced and does the same job as a diy set up.
A good company to deal with are pure freedom very good value for money compared to other companies and are highly rated by a number of forum users, there are also concept 20 a part of ionics but i dont believe there as expensive .
As for poles yes gardeners are still the market leader with there poles and i use them myself slx).

Pure Freedom well worth it have 2 man set up & static RO poles from Mr Gardener ...Pure Freedoms after sales care second to none IMHO

From experience id recommend Pure freedom in Grimsby for the van mount if you're not very good at d.i.y :)
Can only comment on Gardiners & Ionics for the poles - Gardiners clx 22 or 27 are fine poles - bought my last one about 8 months ago and it's had a lot of use and is still like new
When I first started, I had an Ionics pole - brand new - clamps went after about 2days
Very poor

Grippa tank are are causing good waves with the crash tested system they have on the market defo worth look nice fitted system, purefreedom also just not crash tested
Ionics are nice but come with a price tag.

I understand from pure freedom that they are also going down crash tested route.

Plenty of choice out there.
Ionics, Pure Freedom, Grippa, Concept 2o even Brodex to name a few. Only a couple are crash tested so far. It might depend on where you live or how much you want to spend. Gardiners SLX is an excellent pole.

+ 1 .... totally agree, there diy system is good, i got 1 man, and never had problem with flow control, ro unit, (membranes are cheap) or pump, ." touch wood" bought over 2 years ago, good customer service, but the poles get from gardiners ... .j.

I don't think concept2o are anything to do with ionics .
Pure2o however are the cheaper arm of ionics and fitted and built at the same place, the difference nbeing you get a 4040 ro rather than ionics linear filters .
I know this because I have one, excellent system and they price match any other crash tested system .
There poles are trash though .

Pure freedom been pretty good for me and reasonable in price.Had a 40" RO system for 18 months with little maintenance issues,obviously depending on where you live as regards to hardness/softness of your water.Soft water equals less replacement of filters etc.Gardiners pole SLX 30 covers 3rd level windows and same again very little problems.Like anything look after your kit and it will look after you.

If you have storage space I would get a delivery system only ie tank and pump . It will probably be cheaper and you don't have to start filling van when you get home you can just transfer the water.
