Just brought a Gerni 2750 vax from Ebay. Very powerful twin motors etc supplied with 50mm hose.
Went to use on my own house today on lower level gutters and its so powerful its sucking everything up and in 20 minutes it got blocked 3 times ! That was just using the hose. I even turned one motor off to reduce power
Any advice what I should or shouldnt be doing ?
Thanks

Isnt that the point??

Surely if you are getting blockages you would be asking if the tubing was too small??
Im confused..

I use 38mm - rarely blocks the pipe - usually the inlet.. I would have thought it would block with too little suction rather than too much.

Sounds weird but so powerful sucks up so much stuff it blocks

Won't buy one of those then!

You need something to break up the crud in the gutters. Get a tool that will fit on a pole to brake up lumps.Slow down your progress with the vac so the vac gets time to feed through the system.

It's knackered, sell it to me :D :D :D

Thought the whole point of having a powerfull Vac was to suck everything up i havew a 3000w vac and was blocking on last job with 50mm hose it's all dependant whats in the gutter just shake the hose as your vaccing and also make sure you clean out after every job.

I can help with that.
I know our guys use a 1200w vac and a 3000w vac both with 38mm poles and generally don't have problems with blocking.
If you break up the debris in the gutters first then you'll save yourself time in the long run.
