Title: Accountant Recommendation?
Post by: Anthony Hull on November 14, 2012, 06:20:14 pm
Hi chaps,

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced accountant who can manage a limited company's accounts?

Ideally I would like one familiar with an online accounts package such as FreeAgent or Kask Flow etc but who can guide me as to what to enter so everything adds up correctly.

It doesn't matter where they are based, as long as they are good and communicate well.

Cheers!

Anthony

Hi John

My business is a limited company and I use a company called Bennett Verby in Stockport. I've used them for over 14 years and most correspondence is done by email although I can't answer your question about the on line packages you name.

Again what price is reasonable to me might be cheap/expensive to you.

The partner I deal with is John Sutcliffe, and it probavbly won't harm you if you mention my name if you care to call. They do my company accounts, payroll and my personal tax return.

Contact details are

john.s@bennettverby.co.uk

switchboard 0161 476 9000

website http://www.bennettverby.biz

Cheers.

Most accountants in the Tax Assist group use Kashflow, might be worth looking up your local Tax Assist agent.

How come I've got to pay corporation Tax when those jokers don't?

Personally I use a local accountant. If I need to talk to them or go over any papers they're handy to get hold of.

I did ask the question, "as the world is due to end on Dec 22nd this year, do we need to submit accounts this year?" Seems not even the end of the world stops HMRC coming after you.
