Title: Who designs and edits websites?
Post by: Warren Aldridge on November 14, 2012, 11:25:30 am
I'm getting a lot of interest in my Adwords agency but if my customers websites cant convert shoppers into buyers then people will be wasting their money on Adwords even with a great account structure.

I don't get involved with site design other than basic consultancy so I'm looking for designers who I can refer to.

I heard Kevin Loomes is great at this. Is there anyone else I can refer to?
And do you have a portfolio I can check out?

Websites getting traffic through Adwords need the fundamental on page SEO but ideally need to be pretty honey traps that convert well

A few of the TACCA guys use Alex from Alloy marketing, never used him myself but the sites look decent.

As previous comment, BlackBerry is run by Mark at DP leaflets, so he has a wealth of knowledge on things carpet cleaning related.
He did my www.strakereco.co.uk site and within weeks, it was producing as many jobs as my older www.strakercleaning.co.uk site ...... that was from Mark Roberts in Devon (he revamped it recently, for first time in 4+ yrs and it has overtaken the new site again). I know they are both producing results as I have not advertised for 6 years and apart from client referrals, the web accounts for the rest of my new work !!

Sorry Warren, I'm too busy on my own stuff at the moment.

I'm glad you have highlighted the conversion aspect though. It's all well and good showing in the results but if the site does not convert it's a waste of time. Customer engagement is the new SEO.

I've got the opposite problem at the moment. I've got a client who is so busy, he is not replying quick enough to calls and emails. The site has had 300 hours + of work and it really annoys me when people get ped off and do not get a response until they send a second or third email. >:(
