Well,... What d'ya think's the best for the job?
-
Host
-
Host by a long way, but I think the Klanz is better still and mor versatile.

Host everytime 8)

Just out of interest I found a Prochem Fiberdri machine advertised at €511 +vat. This could be another option, but i don't know the machine myself

got rid of the sebo and use a host, far, far better, and you can change the brushes to suit the carpet for extra scrub
-
how does the pre-spray then aggitate with one of these machines and then extract method
compare with
pre-spray and then aggitate and extract at the same time using a powerbrush
i use a powerbrush on virtually all my jobs and have never tried a host, do you get better results like this?
i would imagine the powerbrush would be easier and take less time am i right or am i missing something
-
do u use your power brush on every job red? i hav one sitting in me shed ive used it twice i think lol think its a prochem one and it cost about £500 i think , one thing i did notice when i used it it left the carpet lot dryer than a wand
gary
-
all the time. alot better results than the wand and dryer imo.
-
Gary,
If it leaves the Carpet drier why dont you use it
I was told that a power brush leaves the carpet wetter as the vac slot does not fit tightly on the carpet.
And it was better to aggitate with Sebbo Duo or a host and extract with a wand.
Also I believe I am right in saying that the Prochem or Ashbys power brush does not have counter rotating brushes.
-
i use the extracta scrubba deluxe, and in my opinion compared to the wand it leaves it cleaner and dryer, could be my wand technics wrong though.
i think the reason it leaves it dryer is its very heavy and the heads weighted so you dont lose contact with the carpet you allways get good suction

18" carpet brush you cannot beat it, cheap to buy does not break down and very economical to replace.
You can use it for other jobs too.
-
John, can a 18" brush really compare to mechanical aggetation??? If so why do guys spend £400 plus instead of £30 on a good brush. Should I stick to my brush???? ???
-
depends if you've had glue on your hands ;D
-
I have a TM4? from Prochem and it does beat a brush and is easier but not cheaper and you can't carry a vac, pre spray canister and a TM4 in all at the same time!
More toys means more trips to the van.
