...and not only did it not freeze its tipping it down, what a waste of electric lol ;D

better to have made sure it works well now, then when it is freezing.

Yeah, like gto said, just as well to check that all is working correctly before you REALLY need it. Tried mine last week when there was a little cold snap, sometimes I just heat the water up a bit to keep the hoses nice and supple otherwise they tend to get annoyingly rigid and coily (not sure if that's a word)  ;D

My hair gets coily sometimes to.
